Scout Troop #500— St. Marys Parish, Greensburg, IN

Summer is such a fun time for Scouts of all ages! These five Scouts from Indiana were blessed to be able to go on a whitewater rafting trip that they will never forget. But part of being a Scout is that you always “do a good deed” and that is what they did at FBAMC! On their way back home to Indiana, this Scout troop stopped by FBAMC and started building a new porch, ramp and deck on the lower Padres Place trailer where our volunteers stay!

But the biggest blessing of their trip to visit us is that the Mission Center will now be reaching out to Scout troops who wish to do service projects in Appalachia! We can offer short term mission projects for Scouts and there are nearby camping facilities on beautiful Yatesville Lake or you can stay in our facilities or camp on our Point of Hope campus!
